Nelly & Ludacris To Face Off In VERZUZ Battle
The VERZUZ series is continuing to be a leading light in the tough period that Quarantine has presented to us, due to the COVID-19 pandemic around the world.
On Sunday, as planned, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu went head to head with their neo-soul hits on Instagram Live which clocked in more than 720k viewers at one time. The audience was very split on who won so it’s safe to say that the culture took the trophy.
Right after the conclusion of the battle, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland announced that the next competition in the VERZUZ series would be between Nelly and Ludacris which is something a lot of fans have been pitching to the two curators. Both artists peaked around the same time and while Nelly is known for selling more albums, Ludacris is considered a beast on the mic. Of course, the latter had big commercial hits too. This should certainly be an interesting one.
