Timbaland & Swizz Beatz Announce VERZUZ Rematch

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are going back to where it all began.

The super-producers will once again face off in a Verzuz battle this weekend. Their “rematch,” which was teased back in March, will take place live at Miami nightclub LIV on Sunday, May 30, as part of what’s being called the “new Verzuz Live.” It’s unclear what that means exactly since Verzuz is always live, but it could involve a live audience. The hashtag #VerzuzLive is also being used to promote the matchup.

The series launched at the start of the pandemic on March 24, 2020 with Swizz and Timbaland battling it out on Instagram Live in the first-ever Verzuz, which would mark the beginning of a cultural phenomenon.
