Rihanna Teases New Song Coming 'Soon'
Rihanna is making history while teasing new music.
On Thursday, she celebrated the fact that her most recent album ANTI has spent five full years on the Billboard 200. It becomes the first album by a Black female artist to achieve this milestone in the chart’s history.
Taking to Instagram, a humbled Rihanna thanked her fans for their support. “grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle,” she wrote, while acknowledging Women’s History Month. “congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team.”
She also hinted that new music was on the way. When a fan told her to “celebrate by releasing a song,” RiRi actually responded, writing, “I think I should [soon].”
However, fans shouldn’t expect a full album just yet. “Just 1 tho lol,” she added.
It’s unclear how “soon” she plans to drop, but that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing their excitement over her impending return, while others were more skeptical.
