MAK SWAMi Shares ' Muy Bonita ' Featuring Pharaoh SWAMi

A late night of consuming illicit substances and being in the studio birthed the song that was released today Friday, 4th September.

Muy Bonita, translated  from Spanish means “Very Beautiful”. It depicts the story of a young beautiful woman who has left the life of a struggling artist.

The immense passion and connection they once shared is merely a memory. During the times they were together, a true artist forgets to count their blessings and is swept away by the deadlines, goals and visions that he is both blessed and cursed with.

In effect, the girl leaves and the perceived betrayal in the eyes of the artist hardens his heart to not care. After a night of experimenting with psychedelics, his hardened exterior softened to the notion that she wasn’t in the wrong.

He was. So he pours his heart out on the guitar and melodies as he tells the story of his epiphany which reveals the beauty he so misses and craves for.

Mak is a 21 year old singer-songwriter & producer based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Falling in love with music at the age of 17, MAK swapped his car for a laptop, to learn how to make beats - he hasn’t looked back since.
