Album Review: The Kid LAROI - F*CK LOVE
Sydney, Australia Native Kid Laroi has released his debut album "F*CK LOVE" at just 16 years of age. Laroi uses this project as a chance to show why he is one of the most promising young artists in the game.
Kid Laroi opens the project with a small skit called "Booty Call" that opens the project up with a twisted type of Love Story. "MAYBE" is the first track where Kid Laroi strongly belts his voice across the bouncy track where he confesses that maybe he is the problem in his love story. "WRONG" follows this track that features Lil Mosey, this another track that Kid Laroi shows his vocal strengths and how powerful and developed his voice is at such a young age.
Kid Laroi is definitely expressing his pain and emotion in these heartfelt tracks that follow throughout the album. Further on features the track "GO" which features Juice Wrld, this track has been a big example to those who didn't believe that even at such a young age Kid Laroi can hang with some of the biggest names in the game. This track is definitely one of the standouts on the album and I'm sure it'll be a track Laroi will treasure with having Juice on it. "TELL ME WHY" is the following track that features Laroi screaming over the keyboard-heavy beat where he describes his pain and also how he has had to watch all his idols "leave". This track must definitely be somewhat dedicated to Juice as they were quite close before his passing and it is conveniently the track that follows after " GO".
Kid Laroi has shown quite a few of his strengths on "F*CK LOVE" and I believe for a first project at such a young age this is quite promising. The album does a dip in places where some songs do seem to be a bit repetitive but with the album solely based around one topic, this can tend to happen. If you haven't taken the time to check this "Kid" out I would definitely advise you to
