Five Producers That Are Killing It Right Now
While the live music scene looks like it will suffer for some time due to COVID 19 you can guarantee that artists and producers at all levels will continue crafting and producing new music behind closed doors. The Hip Hop game thrives off talented and creative producers and we wanted to take the time to look at five producers that are killing it right now.
Metro Boomin
The 26-Year-Old Producer from Atlanta Georgia is one of the top producers in the game right now. Metro carries through his heavy Atlanta influenced trap style onto tracks which have seen him produce multiple hits alongside some of the games biggest names such as Migos, Travis Scott and The Weeknd to name a few. Metro Boomin also has a very tight-knit relationship with 21 Savage and he is currently finishing up “Savage Mode” with 21 that we will hopefully be given soon. Metro Boomin is a force to reckon within the scene and I am sure you will hear his famous producer tag at the beginning of numerous songs for many years to come “If young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you”.
Nick Mira
Nick Mira is still a very underrated producer in the game and you can guarantee that this year he will grab the recognition he deserves. Nick Mira has most notably produced tracks such as Juice Wrld’s “Robbery” and “Bandit” that were recent hits before Juice’s unexpected passing. Nick Mira was the youngest of the top 100 producers in 2019’s billboard charts and it comes with no surprise when he was the man behind Lil Tecca’s smash hit “Ransom” that hit number four on the Billboard 100. Nick Mira is extremely young and gifted and the sky's the limit for the 19-Year-Old Producer.
Jetsonmade
Jetsonmade is another producer that had a breakout year in 2019. Jetsonmade stamped his foot into the game when he worked alongside Da Baby to deliver two of Da Baby’s biggest tracks “Suge” and “Bop” which lead to him picking up two Grammys alongside Day Baby. If those two tracks didn’t gain enough recognition for the 22-year-old producer then his recent single with Jack Harlow “What’s Poppin” has certified Jetsonmade's ability and craftsmanship into the rap game. Jetsonmade and his vast melodic keyboard-heavy tracks are not leaving the game anytime soon.
Tay Keith
Tennessee Producer Tay Keith is pivotal to the rap game. Tay Keith has produced some of the biggest songs of the past few years that include “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott and Drake and “Nonstop” alongside Drake again. Tay Keith is well renowned for delivering some of the hardest beats in the game which are backed up by his intimidating 808’s. Tay Keith began 2020 collaborating with two of the UK’s top artists AJ Tracey and Aitch on “Rain”, and if “Rain” has proved anything it is that Tay Keith will be coming in too hard all year long.
Wheezy
Wheezy is another talented producer who has been making noise in the game. Wheezy had a massive 2019 with multiple tracks with the likes of Gunna, Future and Young Thug. Wheezy is an absolute workhorse and you can tell with his diversity and range in production and beats why so many artists constantly use his tracks. 2019 was only the beginning of Wheezy taking over the producing game.
We were gifted with so many great tracks recently and some of these producers listed have been the magicians behind those hits. With all these months for your favourite producers and artists to be locked up behind closed doors to work their craft, you can ensure we will be gifted with a lot more hits in the near future.
