King Von Killed In Atlanta Shooting

King Von has died following a shooting in Atlanta. He was 26.

The Chicago rapper was among two people killed by gunfire outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in downtown Atlanta today. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the officer-involved shooting started around 3 a.m after an argument between two groups turned physical in the parking lot. Two off-duty police officers attempted to intervene but were not injured.

A member of King Von’s crew, Chopsquad DJ, confirmed that Von was among the victims. “My heart can’t take this. No bro. Why you. Why bro. Please just FaceTime me bro. Why they had to take you,” he wrote on Instagram Friday. “RIP my Bestfriend.”
