Megan Thee Stallion is set to release her debut album Suga later this year. On Thursday night, she gave fans the first glimpse of it with the Tupac-sampled single ‘B.I.T.C.H.

The Houston rapper also called into Zane Lowe’s show on Beats 1 to discuss the song, plans for her album, collaborations we can look forward to and more. Megan revealed that she got the idea for ‘B.I.T.C.H’ when she was about to take a shower following a gig. She shared that she was locked into the studio with Pharrell for four days recently.

“So, um, we lock in the studio for about four days and we, we got some fire. Like, he is so cool and he just, he calls me the Machine. Megan the Machine. Because I got in there and I was knocking them verses out so quick and knocking them songs out. You gotta get in the studio and you gotta show Pharrell what you can do. So as quick as he knocking them out, I’m back dooring and knocking them out. So he was like ‘Oh, you a machine.” And I was like “Damn. Pharrell called me a machine. That’s great’,” she said.

Adding to the collaborations, she told Zane that SZA will also be a guest on Suga on a track produced by Juicy J. “I’m not gonna lie, um, my friend SZA, uh, she pulled up on me in the studio, uh, because we have a song that’s gonna be on my album too and it was so fire making that song with her. Um, Juicy J produced it. We know I love Juicy J. So yeah, we got, we got a lot of bangers on that album.” Watch the chat below. According to a press release about the new single, Kehlani is also a guest on Suga.
