Kodak Black has pled guilty to federal weapons charges in court today.

This is an interesting development as the rapper had previously chosen to plead not guilty in the same case. Kodak has been in federal detention since his arrest in May and the judge had denied his request to be released on bond, calling him a danger to the community.

The controversial Florida rapper’s sentencing is now set for November 13, and he could get up to 8 years in prison, according to TMZ. Kodak was arrested at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami in May as he arrived at the Hard Rock Stadium to take the stage. The feds have also linked him to a March shooting after his fingerprints were found on the gun purchased.
