Megan Thee Stallion Applies To Trademark "Hot Girl Summer"
The H-Town Hottie is making professional steps to trademark her catchphrase “Hot Girl Summer.”
On July 10, it is reported that Megan Thee Stallion filed the application to trademark the phrase, after tweeting that she’s “been in the process” of trademarking it. Since the Houston rapper has gone viral with the phrase, brands like Wendy’s, Forever 21, and Maybelline have capitalised off it.
Thee Stallion has also teased that an official “Hot Girl Summer” song may be released before the end of the summer. If the trademark gets approved, Thee Stallion can officially market off the phrase for merchandise purposes.
