New Lil Peep Album Will Be Released
It looks like another posthumous Lil Peep album is on the way.
On Monday, a post went out on the late rapper's Instagram account notifying fans of the good news. "Who wants a new Lil Peep album of amazing unreleased music put together by Gus' mom and the songs' original collaborators," the message reads. "You have been waiting for this, and I can't wait to give it to you."
The message appears to be signed by Peep's mother Liza Womack and is captioned simply, "Yep."
Womack was also supportive of Peep's first posthumous album Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2, which was released last November.
"What do you do when a young artist dies long before his time, leaving behind a legacy of finished and unfinished work and a legion of heartbroken fans? Well, I feel very proud of what Columbia Records has done with Gus' album," Peep's mother said at a listening for the previous project.
There may also be another Peep album in the works. ILoveMakonnen confirmed he has a joint project with the late rapper that should be released this year.
