Childish Gambino & Rihanna Will Release 'Guava Island' Film During Coachella

If you remember, Childish Gambino and Rihanna shot a mysterious film project in Cuba last year and according to the trailer, it was directed by Hiro Murai, who also helmed the hit TV series Atlanta and Gambino’s much talked about ‘This Is America’ video.

It has been officially announced that YouTube will stream the film exclusively during the live telecast of the festival. The exact date is not revealed but we’re guessing it’s April 13th.

YouTube will also host weekend 2 of the fest for the first time on their platform. The news about Guava Island premiering during Coachella was posted by YouTube on their website a few hours ago but the mention has since been edited out.
