Solange Announces Split From Husband Alan Ferguson
Solange and her husband Alan Ferguson have split after five years of marriage.
The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram today to announce their separation. “11 years ago I met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life,” Solange told her 4.1 million followers. “early this year we separated and parted ways, (and tho it ain’t nan no body business 😭) I find it necessary to protect the sacredness of my personal truth and to live in it fully just as I have before and will continue to do.”
Solange also shared an update on her health after revealing in Dec. 2017 that she was being treated for an autonomic disorder. As a result, she was forced to cancel her New Year’s Eve gig at the AfroPunk festival in South Africa.
