Multi-talented artist and Compton native, Eric Bellinger, has been responsible for some of your favourite songs to date. Penning hits and working with industry heavy hitters such as Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and many more. He is about to perform in New Zealand, so why not get to know him before you see him live.

His pen game has boosted many careers

Before Eric became a solo artist, he was the songwriter behind some of the biggest names of R&B such as Brandy ("Without You"), Usher ("Lemme See"), Trey Songz ("Disrespectful") and Chris Brown ("New Flame", "Fine China").  He won a Grammy for writing for arguably Brown's album, F.A.M.E.

He's not just a one hit wonder.

Eric's first release was in 2013 with his mixtape series, Born II Sing, which was a three part series. His debut album, The Rebirth,  was followed by Cuffing Season Part 1 & 2. In the span of five years, Eric has dropped 14 projects. Quality projects to be exact and he's already back in the studio after Eazy Call.

One of the few real male R&B artists left.

There has been a shift of the popularity of alternative R&B or as some like to call it, "mumble R&B". Eric has stuck to the blueprint of real R&B: powerful & baby making vocals, silky harmonies and lyrics that either have you seeking love or falling deeper into it. But, he has his own personal twist and found the perfect formula of incorporating old school into new school.
