2. He's A Fighter Even though August has released music over the last few years, he hasn't popped off as much as he deserves due to the issues he's had with his health. Back in 2017, August dropped an interview with Jada Pinkett-Smith where he revealed the diagnosis to the world. "I have a liver disease where my autoimmune system is fighting against itself," he said. "The reality of it is, I'm sick all the time."

In 2015, August had to undergo serious eye surgery to correct issues he was having that were causing him to lose sight.
