Kanye West released his much awaited interview with Charlamagne Tha God earlier today where they discussed Trump, real estate, issues wit Jay-Z, new music, hospitalisation, Kim Kardashian getting robbed in Paris and much more. Following that, he made a stop at TMZ along with his new friend Candace Owens to take part in their live segment and just as expected, it was all fireworks.
Yeezy had previously hinted at an opioid addiction, something that surprised very many people at the time. During his TMZ rant, Ye confirmed his previous addiction to opioids, noting that his dependence stemmed from a liposuction procedure he had. “I was addicted to opioids,” said Ye, “I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all. I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob [Kardashian] at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married.” Ye notes that his doctors prescribed him opioids and while he started taking 2 per day, he ended up with 7 a day at one point.
Kanye stirred up the place with his controversial comments about slavery. ‘Ye argued that 400 years of slavery sounded like it continued for so long out of choice. “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice. You was there for 400 years, and it is all of y’all?” questioned Kanye, leaving a lot of people in the newsroom shocked.
